Who we are

We're three friends who met at Gymnasium through Jugend gründet. We've always been the kind of people who build things and ask 'What if?', but that all changed when we visited a school for the visually impaired in Stuttgart. That day changed everything.
That's when Habric was born. It's a wearable device that translates what's happening around you into real-time 3D vibrations, giving visually impaired people an intuitive way to sense their surroundings.
Since then, things have moved fast. We won Jugend gründet and STARTUPTEENS at national level, took home a gold medal at iENA, received a personal invitation from the German president and placed in the top three at Samsung Solve for Tomorrow. We are now based at the TUM Forschungszentrum in Garching. We've received interest from eight countries, even though we haven't started marketing yet.

The Role

We're building habric's marketing from scratch – and we need you to build it with us.
You'll work directly with the founders and an experienced marketing mentor to shape how the world sees habric. This means developing our brand identity, creating content that resonates, setting up our digital presence, and planning our first product launches.
This is your chance to own marketing at a hardware startup from day one. Your ideas won't just get heard – they'll become reality.

What you'll work on:

  • Building our brand identity and how we tell our story
  • Creating content that matters
  • Setting up our digital foundations (content strategy, analytics, lead nurturing)
  • Supporting product launches and connecting with our community

You should apply if you

  • are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or similar)
  • have a strong sense for brand, design, and storytelling
  • are comfortable with design tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • are fluent in English (our working language)
  • want to build something from scratch, not follow a playbook
  • care about work that makes a real impact

It’s a plus if you

  • speak German (we're currently still a German team, even though we work in English)
  • are in a later semester
  • have experience with brand building or content creation (personal projects count!)
  • understand what it takes to build something from zero
  • have worked on creative projects that show your taste and thinking
