Three friends from Gymnasium who met through Jugend forscht. We were always building things, always asking "what if" – until we took our project to a blind school in Stuttgart and everything changed. Watching students navigate with skills we'd never imagined was humbling. They move through space using sound and touch in ways that felt almost like superpowers. Between our studies at TUM, TU Eindhoven, and HM München, we kept coming back to that experience. All the computer vision and sensor tech we were learning felt meaningless unless it could actually help people live better.That's how blind Sonar started – not as a business idea, but as an answer to what we saw in Stuttgart.
