We grew up in southern Germany – a place where hands-on engineering and creative thinking go hand in hand. Driven by curiosity and a shared belief that technology should serve people better, we started blind Sonar.What began with simple questions and late-night tinkering turned into a team built on trust, honesty, and purpose. From first sketches to working prototypes, we’ve stayed close to the work – building a future where accessibility and innovation belong together.

November 2022
Idea in the school workshop
It all started in the school workshop, with the feeling that technology is not available to the people who need it most. So we started building during the breaks and after school.
March 2023
Jugend forscht competition
After 3 months, the time had come for us to go public at the regional competition of jugend forscht. First feedback and first victory.
June 2023
StartupTeens national winner
Up to now, we have been very focussed on technology, but the business side was added by StartupTeens. Where we created the first business plan and business case. Apparently it wasn't too bad and we qualified for the national final. We won there.
September 2023
Bits & Pretzels
Bits & Pretzels was our first big startup conference. It was great to meet up with like-minded people and exchange ideas. Big thanks to StartupTeens and Bits & Pretzels for having us.
June 2024
Jugend gründet national final
After we had used the last few months for development and A-levels. We had the great opportunity to present our project in the national final at Jugend gründet. And we actually won out of over 1000 teams. And we could look forward to a trip to Silicon Valley.

Federal President Steinmeier
Thanks to our successes to date, we had the great honour of being invited to the citizens' festival at Bellevue Palace by our Federal President Steinmeier.

Silicon Valley
Silicon Valley is a world of its own. Unique mindset, brilliant people and bold ideas. It was very inspiring to exchange ideas and make contacts with founders, investors and companies like Google and Nivida. Many thanks to Jugend gründet for making this trip possible.
